Black People were enslaved because of their high level of development and discipline, because they were accustomed to working hard and in an organized manner, and because they had the skills, intelligence and know-how to build the type of country white people wanted to build. This explains why the primary objective of the Black People who were brought to this land as slaves was to regain their state of self-determination and govern themselves. But Black People in the United States know little of this, and little of how Black History should be taught.
