Individuals search the conscious part of their being for data that they can use to help them make choices and decisions. As they search, they are able to compare what they think they should do with what they desire to do (and determine if a conflict exists), and deliberately assess various alternatives. For one, most of the data in the conscious cannot be accessed because the individual is not aware of its existence. Also, there is an excess of unpleasant data in the Black conscious that might be "hidden" "forgotten" or "unacknowledged." and a host of other data that challenges the very foundation of the Black subconscious. Because this is so prevalent among Black People, it can be stated that the conscious portion of Black People's being is not only abnormal in a unique way, but critically abnormal. It is Black People's inability to balance their conscious and subconscious realities that has put them on the road to the nuthouse.
